This year’s agenda will include the following topics:
Epidemiology
- Epidemiology of infectious and non-infectious diseases, including those that are agents of biological weapons.
- Threats to public health. Experiences from recent years, analyses, conclusions, proposals – epidemics, critical infrastructure failures.
- Educating the public on how to respond to biological threats.
Identification of CBRNE agents
- Recognizing the threat of weapons of mass destruction use.
- Threat monitoring, environmental reconnaissance, medical intelligence.
- Identification and neutralization of CBRNE agents.
- Procedures, techniques, new technologies.
- Procedures in contaminated areas.
- Emergency medical services in contaminated areas.
- Medical evacuation from contaminated areas.
- Decontamination and neutralization – technologies and procedures.

Psychological aspects in life- and health-threatening situations
- Mental resilience in extreme situations.
- Psychological responses of victims and rescuers to CBRNE threats.
- Mental health of personnel responding to CBRNE incidents, including post-traumatic stress and psychological support.
- Long-term psychological effects of victims, rescuers, and communities affected by CBRNE incidents.
- Communication, panic, and disinformation – managing the public response to CBRNE threats.
The aim of the Conference is to provide a platform to share and expand knowledge on epidemiology and CBRNE security in the context of threats to health after the use of CBRNE agents. Therefore the conference topics concern a wide range of activities undertaken throughout the process of responding to the threat: preparation and prevention, and actions performed both during the incident and also after its occurrence.
During the 12th edition, it will be especially important to summarize the experiences of the past decade and the actions taken in the process of responding to emerging threats.
As before, the program included a section for organizing thematic workshops and a poster session.
Participants (doctors, paramedics and laboratory diagnosticians) will receive educational points. Scientific reports will be published in the conference publication with ISBN number.

Cost of participation of one participant:

TERMS OF CANCELLATION
You will be able to cancel your participation in the Conference free of charge only until 13.02.2026. If you cancel your reservation after this date or if you do not attend the Conference, you will be liable to paying the full cost of participation based on the invoice issued by the Association of Defense Communities Movement.
You should notify us of the cancellation in writing at: k.klimczyk@srwo.org.pl
The Organiser shall confirm such cancellation in writing.
The lack of payment shall not mean the cancellation of your participation in the Conference. If you are unable to take part in the conference, you can nominate another participant.
The Organiser reserves the right to cancel the Conference or change its dates.
