Would cordially like to invite you to take part in 10th anniversary edition of the ‘Epimilitaris’ Scientific Conference: ‘Epidemiology and CBRNE Security – Decade of experience, which will be held on March 11-13, 2024 in Hotel ‘Zamek Ryn’.

This year’s agenda will include the following topics:

1. Epidemiology of infectious diseases which are biological warfare agents.
2. Epidemiology of non-infectious diseases which pose risks to health of uniformed services.
3. Threats to the public health. Lessons Learned from recent epidemics, critical infastructure failures – conclusions, suggestions.
4. Recognising threats resulting from the use of CBRNE. Monitoring of incidents, environmental reconnaissance, medical intelligence.
5. Identification of CBRNE agents. Procedures, techniques and new technologies.
6. How to proceed in a contaminated area? Forensics, triage, environmental aspects, paramedic in the contaminated area. Medical evacuation from the contaminated area.
7. Preparations in terms of CBRNE security.
8. Management of a crisis situation after an incident in which CBRNE agents have been used. Restoration of capabilities
9. Security problems in modern security science.
10. Non-military defence preparations and crisis management in the national security system.
11. Modern techniques and technologies to support national security.

          The Conference is to provide a platform to share and expand knowledge on epidemiology and CBRNE security in the context of threats to health after the use of CBRNE agents. Therefore the conference topics concern a wide range of activities undertaken throughout the process of responding to the threat: preparation and prevention, and actions performed both during the incident and also after its occurrence.

During the anniversary edition, it will be especially important to summarize the experiences of the past decade and the actions taken in the process of responding to emerging threats.

As before, the program included a section for organizing thematic workshops and a poster session.

Participants (doctors, paramedics and laboratory diagnosticians) will receive educational points. Scientific reports will be published in the conference publication with ISBN number.
